AI and language learning

For those who studied English in traditional Japanese schools, it was all about reading and writing with very little guidance on listening and speaking. After decades of such textbook education, people are still struggling to grapple with oral communication in English. AI and speech recognition technologies may be just what they need to break from the past. And obviously this is not for Japanese only. It's for anyone and any spoken language in the world.

I wrote a long article on how to improve English pronunciation for English learners. The article has a wealth of information including an easy daily practice method. It’s written in Japanese but can be read in other languages with a machine translator. I tried English translation with Google Translator and it was remarkably accurate and readable.
